In 2017, KGK announced the addition of Derek Kuryla, PLA, ASLA to their Northeast Ohio based design build team and as an extension into landscape architecture and urban design services through StudioKGK. With a background and knowledge in landscape architecture, urban design, and master planning acquired from The Ohio State University and Columbus-based design firm, MKSK Studios, Derek brings a fresh perspective and a collaborative approach to further broaden the range of skills, creativity, and dedication every project receives while working with KGK and StudioKGK. From conceptual design to construction detailing, master planning to project implementation the KGK companies place an emphasis on consistency and innovation that led them to their recognized reputation and respect. These two entities create a common goal of success through meeting the needs of their clientele, facing and solving design challenges, and shaping the built and natural environment.
